Where do we start with this one?!? Originally, the Gretsch White
Falcons were trimmed with Gretsch drum sparkle material. They
were meant to be a show model and never intended to be a
production model. Due to the large splash it made on the buying
public, Gretsch, decided to produce the White Falcon model
beginning in 1955, with the single cutaway model and soon after,
this double cutaway design.
This example is from the last year White Falcon’s were made in the U.S.A. at the Boonesville, Arkansas factory before the factory burned to the ground. Present models are made overseas and do not have the collectability of these American made beauties.
