She has been beat, she has been abused and customized. This
baby spent most of the late 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s, as one of
the main guitars of the Portland area country rock band “Green
River.” Some time in the 80’s, she was gouged out for a Gibson
deluxe pickup at the neck, (Which has been replaced with a
modern Fender neck pickup.) and her finish was removed. A look
under the neck seems to suggest she was tobacco sunburst or
red. Her tight “C” neck has insanely low action. Your fingers
may be surprised at how fast she plays. You need to add this to
your collection before known Tele bandits such as John 5, Brad
Paisley or Keith Urban find this one.
